Day 7

I enjoyed seeing everyone present in class today and seeing the nod to Dead Poet’s Society at the end of the presentations.

Day 6

Today’s lecture is about the power of digital platform models. My students seem to have clearly understand the concepts discussed based on the questions and follow-up questions during and after the class. I am expecting my students to clearly articulate the takeaways based on the posted slides and class discussions.

Day 5

Reaching group consensus can be a difficult task, especially in 90 minutes with five people. However, there are studies that “time-boxing” yourself can actually lead to more creativity and productivity. For today’s blog, I’d like people to share some tips, advice, things they’ve notice that help keep the group on track and organized.

Day 4

Today we used the time in class to share individual ideas for the Business Model Canvas (BMC). I heard a lot of great dialogue, feedback, and collaboration within the groups. Coming out of class today, you should be going back on your own and iterating on the ideas you came into class with today.

Day 3

My morning began at 7am with the GE group who came in seeking input from me for their challenge. The early mornings are a great time to explore and have good discussions. I know some of my students are night owls, like me, and would rather work with me in the evening after 5 pm.

Day 2

Today, I was most impressed by the attentiveness of my students to my lecture as well as the many good questions that were asked in the process. I liked this a lot! I expect this trend to continue and hope that more of my students will engage with me going forward.I also fed off the energy that was in the room…

Day 1

The class today flowed very well and felt energized by the very attentive students, seriously taking notes as covered the topic. I hoped the students would be more engaging when I asked them to participate but I fully understand given that it is their first day.
