This week, our group completed pivoted and changed our technology. On Tuesday, we planned on developing our past tech (Amber Alert) further. However, we realized during this meeting that we were better off building another idea. We came up with adViz, an application that maps concentrations of crime and routes safer routes home.

Ted called the superintendent of the police in Vizag. He wanted more video capabilities and GPS-based technology. Ted confirmed that the police would be willing to work with us.
Due to the complete pivot, we were forced to start over. On a condensed timeline, we worked quickly to build from the ground up. First, we outlined important features such as heat mapping, routing, and push notifications.
Then we came up with a business model. We decided to have a three-tiered, subscription based model. We priced it according to the average price of an app in the Indian app store, 65 rupees.
All in all, it was a hectic couple of days that compressed a few weeks worth of work. We are excited to move forward with our idea.
