This week in our meeting we discussed the feedbacks we got from different groups and which ones we want to accept and the ones which did not seem to be that valuable or related to our presentation. The two major changes we decided to make after the feedback and peer evaluations were to incorporate the idea of slums but not displace them to the suburbs and secondly, how to integrate the idea of housing to fit well with our VizagONE idea.

After brainstorming and reading the peer recommendations we came to the conclusion that we want to create a housing profile in each citizen’s VizagONE card which can track their water, electricity, utilities consumption and give them recommendations and incentives to improve them towards a more sustainable living. Furthermore, based off of Prime Minister Modi’s “housing for all” policy we decided to create guidelines for what qualifies as a house and if a citizen lives in illegal and temporary housing facilities they will be notified through their VizagONE card alternatives like government housing around the city, portable housing and will be given aid and help by the government for shifting and vacating the slum area as well incentives through the VizagONE program. Furthermore, users of the VizagONE program will be put in a tier program system and will be given benefits depending on the time for which they have been a part of our program. We hope to now present our idea in the upcoming presentation and impress the judges by our idea.
