Day 7: The day before presentations.
Tomorrow we will be presenting before very important people in the city of Vizag. We are honored to be presenting before Honorable Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Andhra Pradesh Ministers of Higher Education, Skill Development Officers, civic leaders, and leading Smart City experts from IBM and the Paradigm Group. Our months of training have allowed us to refine our presentation skills – we have been fortunate to have key speakers in our class, and thus have them as judges during many of our presentations. Truly, we have been preparing for our final presentations all semester long, yet one can’t help but feel nervous to stand before the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
We are using today as a preparation day—working hard, receiving feedback, and making adjustments. Many of us carved out a few minutes to explore the surrounding areas by visiting Simhachalam, a Hindu temple. Entering the temple, we were engulfed in shadows and candle lit diyas. It was an amazing cultural experience for all of us!
After our cultural excursion, we returned to the hotel to rest and prepare for presentations. All our hard work throughout the semester will finally be showcased tomorrow. Good luck team!
