After filling out a When2Meet, we found that the best time for our group to meet consistently is Sunday for two hours. We’ll be meeting around 3:00 for a few hours every week going forward. During our meeting this week, we set up a google drive so we can share documents as we start brainstorming ideas. Only Isabel and I could show up to this weeks meeting but Helen and Avani informed us beforehand that they had temporary conflicts. They’ll be attending future meetings though.
Our group has a few ideas for the space but we all agree that a little more research is needed. We need to understand what kinds of problems citizens of Vizakh face in order to tackle them in a “smart” way. The expense report compiled in class is an excellent resource and we need to find more data like that to prove the viability of any innovation we want to bring. For this week, we plan on doing research and collecting data on Vizakh to compare it to established “smart” cities elsewhere.
